Ah the City life.
Everyone’s in a hurry. No time to stop and smell the pollution.
Where you can get anything delivered to your doorstep. Where Traffic and Parking is a bitch.
Gotta love it !
It rained in Delhi today. And it’s JUST Febuary 8th. Wthax ? I thought Delhi was supposed to be all nice and dry and devout of life and stuff.
Now everything’s all wet lol. Nothing good can come of this
There’s a small stall over at the Select Citywalk Mall in Saket, Delhi.
They take in stray puppies from the Streets of Delhi and take care of them.
Every weekend, Ujjaina and Ramiya set up the Stall near the Mall and try to find people to Adopt these poor innocent little puppies. To find them a good home. You can also choose to Donate, Volunteer or Sponsor them since they’re not getting paid or anything to do this.
What they do is so freakkin self-less it makes me feel like a dick for asking them so many questions and then saying “Aw no I cant because I like in a PG accommodation and they wont let me keep a dog“.
They told me sometimes people take the puppies, but return them back after a day or two for various reasons. That is, if they even bother to return them back, instead of just throwing them out into the street again.
I’m just so freakkin glad there are people like Ujjaina and Ramiya out there in India.
So if you’re looking to adopt a Dog or Puppy in Delhi, please do remember to check out the stall. Even if you dont, they could use any help you could give.
I hope to volunteer there every Sunday. It’s the only free day I have, and this seems like the best way to spend it.
I have their number, so if you’re interested in contacting them, do let me know in the comments
This is such depressing News I couldnt believe it when I first heard. There’s just 1411 Tigers left in India.
Every Morning I take a Rickshaw to the Office, here in Delhi.
Every Rickshaw I take, usually has Bollywood stars on the Rearview Mirror.
Here’s a fun repository of them all
Click the Image above to view the Flickr Album. It’s just a couple Images now, but I plan on updating it daily. That should be fun
I’m noticing a Trend here.
Yesterday I saw this :
And Today, again, I noticed this :
Delhi Rickshaw drivers really <3 the Bollywood stars eh ?
Could this be the start of a new Album
?
I’m so unbelievably disappointed that I didnt make the Republic Day Parade in Delhi today. Too many of my friends warned me against going there, and I listened, and now I just plain regret not checking it out. Bleh.
But in any case, I did manage to get a couple (very very few) pictures of the general Republic day atmosphere here in Delhi. Cant blame me for trying eh ?

Yesterday being Sunday, my only day off from work during the week, I figured I’d do all my Christmas shopping. Presents for my Sister, Brother and Parents. Keeping within the family y’know
Now the only Mall I know in Delhi is the “Select CityWalk” Mall at Saket. I was pleasantly suprised to see it all nicely decked out in the Christmas theme. Really got me in the Christmas mood
More Pictures after the break.
My ol’ pals Nishta and Arjun were in Town here in Delhi ! Pics from our very brief meetup at the Saket Mall !
Delhi’s been pretty fun so far. I’m insanely busy on weekdays so that completely rules out any socializing unfortch.
The Album (click the image above to get to it) will be updated with my Daily picture-takings in Delhi. Just so you know whats’ going on with me
Weekends though are free, and that’s when I hit Delhi ! Been to KFC (ofcourse) and a Mall nearby this sunday. Saturday evening was spent at Ruby Tuesday’s. Scouted around my neighbourhood for places like CCD.
Looking good so far y’all.
Still have to find a place to stay though.
