Egads. So it just happened the Celebrations (?) extended into Sunday as Well. Good Times !
Yeah, I dont think there’s anything we didnt do in Manipal in the last two days lol.

Ah. An awesome fun day full of Videogames, Sheisha, Food, Karaoke, Friends, Food, Cars and yeah more food. Egads we sure ate a lot yesterday.
Our pal Adnan was leaving so we sorta had an entire day of “Lets hang out and do everything possible in Manipal” yesterday. It didnt hurt that he paid for lunch either lol.
Just took a couple pics. The Nokia N97 isnt that great in low light and I totally missed out on some great moments by not having the N82 around.
Airtel Twitter Ads
Airtel recently scored the ability to let their users use Twitter with their network via Sms/Text messages. Personally I think 1Rs per “Tweet” sms is way too much but thats a whole other story.
Came across some awesome ads that the network’s started to promote their new feature. Airtel’s always had pretty decent commercials, so its not suprising.

Burger King selling a 7 stacked beef Whooper to celebrate Windows 7 Launch

Apparently Burger King is selling a 7 stacked beef patty Whooper in Japan, to celebrate the Windows 7 Launch there.
Oh god.
That picture almost makes me cry. I miss the Burger King-ness. I miss the beef-ness. I miss the Whooper-ness.
Sigh.
And now we resume our normally scheduled life in India…
Blackouts and Candles
Ah another day another thing falling apart. We had a blackout in the late evening today.
And… and…. and our Power Backup decided to go Kaput. Time to break out the Candles.
Luckily a friend of mine gave me this neat Giant Ekram Candle for Diwali. I’d normally keep these kinda things, them being precious and special and all. But I figured “Hey its going to sit alone and gather dust unless I use it” lol.
And yes, these pictures were taken on a Nokia N97. Ha just had to plug that in.
Needless to mention, the power came back in about an Hour. And there I was with a gazillion pics of Candles and Flames.
Eesh. I need help.
Diwali Loot
Ah Diwali. Whatever you are/do you cant help getting into the spirit of it all as this whole country gets into the Diwali spirit.
The neighbours are super generous during this time of the year lol. So are a couple of my friends. The Cj household got all sorts of stuff ranging from super-sweet-totally-going-to-gimme-diabetes indian sweets, to Cadbury ones like the one below :

Ah now there’s only my Birthday and Christmas to look forward to.

Had to do a bit of shopping to find one for the Diwali Celebrations tomorrow. Eesh I suck at finding a decent Indian outfit.

A pal was leaving Manipal tonight so we figured it’d be fun/nice to have a sort of Mini-Diwali Celebration for her before she left.
Awww and it was all my plan too. Arnt I, like, the nicest fella ever ?

Wake Up Cj
Haha look at me coming up with the clever titles. Went all the way to Mangalore to watch a Hindi movie called “Wake Up Sid” yesterday, with a buncha friends.
The movie was actually pretty decent. Lots of emotional moments though. And they never randomly broke into synchronized dance ! Quite enjoyed it, which really surprises/worries me.
And with that, this fulfills my One-Hindi-Movie-a-Year Quota.
