Well yesterday turned out to be a fun Friday evening. Tommy‘s Birthday was coming up (its actually today, Happy Birthday Tommy!), and we figured we’d suprise him with some cake. With the limited choices that are available in Manipal, we picked up one from Cafe Coffee Day.
Babz and I also picked up some samosas while we were there, but we haz no pictures of the mosas 
Anywho, the gang all met up at the Sanman restaurant for dinner. Tommy still didnt know about the cake because of our awesome stealth-like maneuvers to hide it. Here’s Babz, Shambhavi and me :
Shambhavi was a little camera shy, so we used that and tricked her into posing for a Three Wise Monkeys pic :
Not bad eh ? We’re pretty monkeys.
Eventually dinner came and left, and it was time to bring out the cake. Babz and I used our super stealth techniques again to get it to the table. Here’s the man of the hour (or day ? Birthday ?)

Following the cake cutting was the Indian tradition of feeding-the-cake-to-everyone-around-you which is one of those traditions that you just have to love

Once the cake was cut into a couple more slices, we all proceeded to indulge in the chocolate-ness :
Ah good times. After we had our fill, it was time to wait for the dinner bill to turn up. Time for more pics,yes ?

Eventually though the bill did arrive. D’oh.
It wasnt that bad though heh. We all paid out share and out the door we went ! With the leftover cake of course :
