Yesterday was the annual Flava Food Fest over here in Manipal. The whole shindig is pretty cool, with different stalls offering different food from all over India.
It was basically Babz, Nishta and Me (Aakash was there but disappeared at the time this pic was taken).
We figured we’d check out the stalls. Like every year, there were tons of em, each with their own unique design. Unfortch it was way too crowded (and the weather was way too hot) so we couldnt actually check out the food.
Here’s Punjab :
Which had this very cool Peacock Feather design on one side of it’s stall :
Uttar Pradesh :
Kerala :
They had this very cool Flower-Pot-Decoration-Thing in front of their stall.
Way Cool.
There was also this banner with strange writings on it. Dunno which state it’s supposed to be signifying but meh, cool stuff hehe :
Followed by a cool Emblem no less :
Moving on, here’s Rajasthan :
Karnataka (With Possibly the least creative banner in the whole shindig) :
And West Bengal, and Bihar :
There were a lot more stalls, but it was just way to crowded to navigate through all that.
Apart from all that, there was also a couple interesting stuff going on, on the stage.
Indian Dancers FTW :
If that wasnt enough, there were CAMELS on the lawn. Camels are Cool :
It was pretty impossible to get a picture of the awesome Camel alone. Ah well :
There were also lots of people dressed in the colorful local outfits of their Indian states :
Very Cool.
So there you have it. We went to a Food Fest, and didnt have any Food. Heh.
