Yesterday was a pretty rawkin’ Sunday. Me and the guys heading out to Mangalore to check out the new Fast and the Furious 4 Movie.
Woo !
But before all that happened we had to take the dreaded hour and a half bus ride to Mangalore. When we finally reached, it was almost lunch time.
We checked out this sweet place called “The Sizzler Ranch” :
Uhhh let’s try that one more time… with Flair !
The place was pretty neat. Their speciality was …. Sizzlers (Duh).
The waiters and service was generally pretty aite. The Food took some time to be served though.
After about 40 minutes, the food came along. I ordered a big ol’ Chicken Pineapple Sizzler for myself :
And Yes, it tasted even better than it looks.
That, coupled with Apple Fanta. Gotta love the Fanta y’all:

Our bill definitely was more expensive than the usual Manipal dinner. But it was totally worth it. Here’s Manoj acting all P.I.M.P with our Monaaay :

After all that we headed to a nearby Ice Cream Parlour for some dessert. On the way we saw :-

I didnt even know there was a new Fiat out.

After a couple minutes of walking, Behold the Ice Cream Parlour :
The Famous “Pabba’s” in Mangalore.
Pretty average Ice Cream tbh. Nothing beats good ol’ Baskin Robbins (watch for the cameo later in this post).
After that, Akashna and Manoj still wanted MORE and stopped by a Paan Stall on the way to the Theatre :
Eeesh. I hate Paan. I hate their Love for Paan. Death to Paan !
If that wasnt enough, Aakash decided to open a Panipuri Stall and Murtaza was his first customer.
That’s until the actual stall owner scared them away by giving them the Evil Eye. Dont Mess with Panipuri stall owners y’all.
Eventually we did get our Tickets for the Fast and the Furious. This was what the whole day was about !

We finally got in, and on time too. With just enough Food for the movie.
Egads, how much DID I eat that day ?

Fast and the Furious 4 was definitely hawt. Better than the previous movies, but imho not as awesome as Tokyo Drift was (although my friends argued with me on that note). Still definitely worth a watch though.

All in all, a pretty fun day. The only sucky part was probably taking that lousy hour and a half bus ride back after watching all the cars and action in the movie lol.
